Ok I just bought the trackir pro and just started flying in fsx. So far I really like the product but have had mixed results. Using the latest driver and game profiles I use the default flight profile with FSX. Besides the issue that it gets stuck in the seat as mentioned in other posts, my biggest issue is my neck is killing me. I have a hard time looking at the dash to see the instruments in VC. My eyes are actually hurting more than my head having to look up all the time when looking at the istruments. Now I know I can adjust the profile which is what I tried doing that doesnt seem to help. Now instead it looks too fast down and its hard to control. I am having a very hard time getting it set right. I want to make it look down without too much head movement but not all the way down and not so fast. Basically whenever I try to adjust it in addition to being able to look down easier it moves too fast so the increase of speed and look distance go hand and hand it seems. Maybe someone can help me adjust this correct or point me to a profile file that works well in fsx. Looking left and right seems ok its just looking down. Plus I dont want it to be so fast looking up, only down. Anyways thanks for a great product. I am using the trackclip on a hat.

Ok I tried redoing the settings again and managed to get the up/down pitch working better. The problem i have now is I cant flip a switch on the dash without turning on precision mode but its not that big of a deal. The main thing is whats mentioned in other posts where it gets stuck looking at the seat or in random ways, i either have to re-center or turn my head all crazy and that usually works but hurts my neck.

Please email me the following info.........

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s) that show and turn off the power saving feature that turn those ports off when idle. Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

Could you attach a screen shot of your device manager, and tracking screen?

To make Print Screen work, you must save an image of what's displayed on-screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a document where it can be printed.

Windows Help: Print Screen

To do this, follow this procedure:

1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn alone.
3. Open a new document in MS Paint, MS Word, MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Save the document as a .JPG or .JPEG file and send it in.
