An idea

Hi Guys - new forum user - first post
But at least Vince knows my name I guess...
I have an idea, you might want to think about: I love TrackIR, and have only 1 problem: Clicking on a button in a Virtual Cockpit is almost impossible - I can't keep my head still enough. Of course I have F9 mapped to a button on my mouse, and that is good enough as a workaround.
But what if: A setting was introduced to help keep the view still, without turning TrackIR off. It would work something like:
Driver: OK, the user haven't moved his head more than x pixels for y miliseconds now. Even if his view isn't centered, I'll lower the sensitivity by factor z right where he's looking now!
A sort of Dynamic Dead Zone for lack of better words. Of course, once the user move starts moving his head again, you revert back to the normal sensitivity curve.
Am I making any sense? I could try to see if I can explain it better. And, of course, you might already have thought of this and decided against it.
