Question before I buy

Hello.

I'm strongly considering purchasing a Track IR4, but before I do, are you working on a Track IR5, and will it be out anytime soon (say in the next 5-6 months)? I don't really want to drop ~170 if the hardware won't be the latest for at least a little while.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that, if the next hardware version is coming out soon, I'd rather wait until it comes out, and get that instead.

Generally, NaturalPoint's policy is to not comment about product and software roadmap plans, pricing and release schedules in advance. We appreciate your interest in our offerings and future developments, and will always let the community know about new offers at the time when they are officially announced.

We feel that TrackIR4 is an incredible piece of hardware. With the bar set so high it is going to be hard to improve upon the incredibly precise and reliable TrackIR4 hardware. So we will need to take our time before an entirely new TrackIR is considered.

At present we plan on selling the TrackIR4 hardware for sometime and will continue developing software for it.
