Due to a HD crash, I had to reinstall XP and decided to update to service pack 2. Wrong decision, it seems.
Now my Track IR 1 isn't recognized anymore.

I have installed the software (2.12B) w/o the device being plugged in. When I plug it in, nothing happens (like the drivers being installed). If I start the software, it tells me first that afile cannot be found (related to USB), then it tells me that the device could not be found and the software will be started w/o the device working.

I never had any problems before (I have used TIR for over a year now on XP w/o SP2).
I badly need some advice to get it working. I can not play any of my flight sims w/o it.

P.S.: I have tried it with v3.11 too. No joy.

Did you have any issues with the install?
Please e-mail me with your setupapi.log, this can be found in the Windows directory, then we will have a better idea of why the install failed.

After reading your post this morning, I began to write an e-mail and send you the log-file.
While preparing the mail, I thought, hey, let's try the installation again.
This time, I tried the USB-port next to the one I used yesterday and bam!, it worked

It's all good now
