I've recently set up Trackir4 and it appears to work with every TIR capable flight sim I have except Lockon FC. Upon starting FC the blue light comes on (indicating a trackir enhanced game is recognized). But when I select any mission, the light goes off and I get no head movement. When I exit the game, Windows task manager says the program is "not responding" and I have to end task.

I have already tried the suggestion to delete the trackir.ini file in the input directory. It makes no difference.

Any help appreciated.

Which application is not responding?

TrackIR.exe. I can see the blue light go out after clicking on any FC menu option from the main screen. Again, there is no trackir.ini file in the Lockon input folder.

There should be, after rebooting the Lock-on software. It should rebuild it. If it isn't reinstalling the file, it could be an issue with Lock-on, and needs to be reinstalled.

I did the reinstall (including deleting of the original lockon directory and deleting registry entries). I tried trackir after the original CD installation and it worked. After patching to 1.12A, it went back to locking up when any menu selection is made in Lockon.

Also if its any help, Trackir.exe locks up upon the exit of ANY of my flight sims (FSX, Lockon, FS2004).

Hi i just upgraded from the old trackir to the new trackir4 and am having the same issue. Have tried the new beta version too. when i load the original lockon it works fine no problems but as soon as i run flaming cliffs nothing works please help

Tried a clean install of the \Input\TrackIR.ini file?

where do i get the file from ??
