I recently pulled my old Saitek X35T (X36) from mothballs to use with IL2. I have been using TrackIR for some time, (long enough to have TrackIR 1), and cannot live without it.
Yet, when I try to use them together, my TrackIR reverts to "mouse emulation" on startup, no matter the profile settings, ( which are enhanced on IL2), and the game tends to freeze on startup.
I've had no problems with the TIR prior to this, but I hope someone else here has seen this problem and may advert me to a fix.

Does original Il-2 enjoy advanced TrackIR mode?

Sorry, I wasn't as speciifc as I should have been.

I'm running IL2: pf+aep+fb. It doesn't support the 6dof for TrackIR3, but it does support TrackIR enhanced mode.

I've been able to determine that the problem occurs whether TrackIR is installed or not, so I'm assuming that the problem lays with the JS software and not a conflict between the two.

Thanks for the reply, and though it's not due to the TrackIR, I'd still appreciate any opinions.
