I just recieve [color:"red"] [/color] d my new Trackir4 plus a TrackClip Pro.Having installed the software and setup a proflie, I find that no matter what i try( and having browsed this forum I've tried most of the solutions given), I cannot get it to work with FS9. However it works fine with FsX.
I am at a loss as to what to do next.
Could you please help?

1 - Does the blue led come on, when you start a flight?

2 - Within FS2004, whenever you start a flight, you must right click on the view and select "virtual cockpit."

To answer your questions:
1) no the blue light does not come on when attempting to use the trackerir4 with FS9.
2) yes i do know that you need to be in the virtual cockpit mode to use it.
As previously stated, although it works perfectly when I set it up and in FsX , I still cannot get it working with Fs9. [color:"red"] [/color]

Is this a standard version of FS2004?

Any add-on applications installed?

By 'standard' version you mean a registered version, then yes.
Over time i've added to Fs2004 various things such as FSUIPC and FS Cargo, Airline pilot and such then the answer is also yes.

By standard version, I mean could the language.dll file been modified.

The blue LED never activates when you have FS 2004 runing?

I don't think that the language.dll file has been modified.
How could you tell if it has been?
No the blue light never illuminates when Fs2004 is running.
