FSX not recognizing TrackIR 4

I am running Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate Edition and have installed the latest drivers and software. The TrackIR software recognizes it, but when I run FSX no blue led is lit. I've tried to delete the x86_microsoft.flightsimulator folder for the SimConnect and Repaired with the installation disc, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1 - Are you running any antivirus/firewall software?
2 - Which version of the TrackIR software?
3 - Does the TrackIR work in other applications?

Ive got XPx64 and track ir doesnt regognize fsx aswell
does TreackIR support x64 systems?
ps. it does work in other apps.

As for FSX support...
1 - Are you getting the blue light enabling an the TrackIR unit, when you start FSX?
2 - Which version of the TrackIR software are you running?
3 - Do you have any Firewall.antivirus software installed?

OK, one step to try�.
1 - Delete the following file folder
C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9
2 - Insert the FSX CD, and run the repair utility. Basically we are looking to reinstall the folder.
3 - Hopefully this should remedy the issue.

OK, a couple of more questions....
1 - In the profiles tab, FSX is listed, correct?
2 - Which OS are you running?
3 - Which version of FSX are you running?
