Hi, my trackir2 just died so I was going through the checkout process on your website wanting to buy a trackir4, but I stopped in my tracks when I saw the postage and handling fee of US$65. I have bought items from the US in the past, some of which have been heaver and/or larger than a trackir, and the freight costs have been much less. Also I have seen trackir4's going on ebay where the postage costs from the US to Australia have been around US$13.
There are a couple of local distributors here is oz but they are charging around US$215 not including postage.
Why the big markup's for your Australian customers?
At the moment my preferred option is to buy secondhand from ebay :/
Thanks,
Scull

Well, the price might be lower, if the seller is sending it thru the US Postal Service. We try to only send the TrackIR unit thru UPS, as we can track the product a LOT better.
Also I would recommend purchasing the unit directly from our resellers in Australia.

Obviously a freight company are going to charge more than standard post, but come on, US$65 for something as small and light as a trackir? Like I said before, I've bought items from the US in the past such as books from amazon and have never had to pay anything like that for freight.
I would be happy to buy from a local reseller if it wern't for the fact that including postage the cost is roughly the same as buying it from you, even with the outrageous freight fee. Also by buying locally, I miss out on special offers such as the $15 rebate available to hyperlobby users, and miss out on any upgrade offers for my trackir2 (which incidentally has died after only 2 years of use).
Sorry for being negative, I'm the first to endorse trackir as being a great product. I just think naturalpoint needs to rethink how it can make it easier for australian customers to aquire one. Either look for cheaper freight options, or somehow make your resellers charge a more reasonable price.

I can understand your point of view, but.....
We charge what we do, based off of what we are charged to ship the product.
I can also understand not getting the discount from the local retailer, but also be awar4e that any package that we do send overseas is subject to fees and taxes by each country before delivery. We do not charge for those, as they are assessed after shipping, and will be required to be paid before delivery. The local reseller will have already paid the import taxes on the product, hence the larger price.
