Unexpected exception error with custom profiles

Hi everybody,

I just got my Track IR 4 Pro yesterday, and quickly made a custom profile for IL2 flight sim. Everything works just fine: I create the profile, associate the game with the new custom profile, no problem. Then, when I quit or reboot the computer, the next time I start Track IR software, I get a message like "cannot read <customprofile.xml>. Unexpected exception"... I installed the thing correctly, first software, then plugged it in USB port. I can't think what's wrong here, as it works perfecly, except it can't load my custom profiles, though they ARE in the profiles directory... Does anyone have any idea/solution? Thanks from a new Track IR user from France.

Hello Sir,
I haven't heard of this before, so I will forward your description of this issue on to our lead programmers.

Can you look in the directory where the profiles are stored and tell me if your new profiles show up as a different file size than the originals?
this directory is usually located at :
C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles

Also can you tell me what version of the software you are using? (you can click "about trackir" from the Help menu to list software version and build).

thanks!
