Axes reversed!

This morning I decided to reinstall my USB drivers for my motherboard since I found it was not using 2.0 support for a number of my devices (not to mention I was tired of that box popping up saying I should plug my TIR 4 into a 2.0 port to get better performance... thing is - it IS plugged into one).
Well, all went well in the reinstall, and then I plugged in the TIR 4, told windows to automatically install the TIR 4 driver... went into the TIR 4 software and... well... My axes are ALL reversed, except up and down (this is the only axis that works normally).
I reinstalled the TIR 4 software (uninstall, re-install) multiple times to no avail.
They're reversed!
Now, you'll probably say just click the reverse box in the software. That is easy enough... BUT - I have many different TIR profiles set up already - and will have to manually edit each one, and solve this via software emulation rather than the axes being detected properly in the first place - like they used to be.
I'm stumped - any help here to get it normalized would be appreciated.
System specs:
X2 4400+, 7900 GTX, 2 gigs ram, Windows XP SP 2, TIR 4 etc
I do not have a Track Clip Pro, and I am using the latest TIR Software, version 4.1.030 Final B
