I can't figure out how to set up trackir with il2's keymapper (worst keymap ever btw) can someone help me?

There is no need to map the TrackIR, to the keymapper within IL2.
You need to have the TrackIR software running, start the gaming application, then start a flight.

I had this problem myself. To fix this you must run IL-2 in admin mode. I've heard of people switching to admin mode by editing their .exe file, but the only method I know of is reinstalling IL-2 in admin mode. To do this, do the following:
1. Uninstall IL-2. Make sure to back up any files you want to save.
2. Insert disc.
3. Right-Click on Start and left-click Explore.
4. Go to the disc drive your IL-2 disc is in.
5. Click the icon with a picture of a computer, labeled "a". This will run the IL-2 installation process in admin mode.
Otherwise, feel free to use Google to see if you can find a way to edit the .exe file instead.
