Hi, Hope you can help. I'm thinking about getting TrackIR for use in racing and flight sims. I'm a little unclear however about whether or not I need the track clip pro, as well as Track IR. Could someone please explain the benefit of the Clip, and what happens if I just go with TrackIR 4 alone... I presume I need something on my head to be tracked, right?

The base TrackIR 4 unit comes with everything you need to get the benefits of 6DOF support. You get with it the original TrackClip (Vector Clip), which attaches to the brim of a baseball cap.

The TrackClip Pro, attaches to the side of a headset, and uses active IR LEDS to allow the camera to track you movement in a 3d space. Some people find the active LEDs to be a little more precise, than the standard TrackClip.
