Will TrackClip Pro work without TrackIR 4?

Gents, I am thinking of buying this software and hardware, but cant spend $180 for it. Will this TrackClip Pro work WITHOUT TrackIR 4 Pro?? Or is it just an accesory?

The TrackClip Pro is just an accessory to the base TrackIR unit.

I have TIRPro3 with Vector, so I'm wondering if there's much of a difference if I add Track Clip Pro to my system?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I Use the Track IR 3 plus I also have the vector expansion with it. About 6 months ago I ordered the Trackclip to go with my trackir3 and I find it to do easier tracking rather that with the vector. Plus I no longer have to wear the hat while flying or driving in my game simms. Just clip the Clip Pro on your headset and you are good to go. Seems to me it is more accurate then the vector on the hat. just my 2cts guys

Thanks Wolf, I was just a bit concerned by the product statement mentioning one needed the Vector to use the TrackClip. Thanks for the clarification, it's appreciated.
