Today when I tried fire up my TrackIR it would not work. The status in the bottom left corner says "Status:configuring". I found this post here:
and I am having the exact same issue as this user. The LED will blink rapidly for a few seconds then stop. When I open up View -> Tracking there is noting but a settings button. I have tried this under WinXp and vista 32-bit. I have re-installed multiple times as well. I have also, disabled power saving on the usb ports and the TrackIR is connected directly to the PC in all cases. Anyone have any suggestions or remedies?

Yes, I have tried every USB port with the same result.

I have not, but I will when I get home from work and post the results.

OK, So I did a fresh install on my laptop (vostro 1700 vista ultimate 32-bit) with the same results: "Status:Configuring" and thats it. Still not working. Tried on all ports, disable power saving, etc with no joy. Where do we go from here?

Mine is doing that today anyone figure out the problem?

i unplugged mine and that fixed it
