Centre is too high!

How can I make the centre in the cockpit lower or higher in different aircraft cockpits? In some aircraft I have to really go low and look up to be able to see through the windshield and in other aircraft I have to go really high and point my face down to be able to see through the windshield at a good angle.
How can I go about adjusting this?

You would need to adjust the view point, within the individual aircraft cfg files.

Vincent,
There's an easier way to do what he is asking, without having to mess with the aircraft.cfg file settings at all. Just use the "Center" function key in TIR4.
When you adjust the parameter numbers in the aircraft.cfg file, all you are doing is moving your initial head position relative to the instrument panel forward/aft, left/right, or up/down. Instead of going through all of that for each different airplane, just load up the airplane in FS9. Then, for instance, if your head is "too close" to that particular instrument panel (you have to tilt your head down to see the panel), just move your REAL head closer to your monitor and hit the "CENTER" function key for TIR4. This will immediately reset the instrument panel to it's "default" view again. Now when you move your real head back to it's original position (sit back in your chair), the panel will move AWAY from you. It may take a couple trial and error attempts to get the view you want from your "normal" sitting position in your chair, but it works great, without having to ever touch the aircraft.cfg file.
Note you can do this for all 6 axis of the TIR4, which allows for some interesting options. Would you like to fly the airplane from the Co-Pilot's seat? No problem! Move your real head LEFT first (this may actually put your view outside the cockpit at first depending on the size of the cockpit), then hit "CENTER" function key to re-center the instrument panel, then move your real head back to the right where you normally are sitting. VOILA! You are now sitting in the co-pilot's seat!
You can adjust the "up and down" of the instrument panel the same way.
Note that for MOST adjustments this way, you will want to make sure you move your real head "flat" forward/back or left/right or up/down, ie, without introducing any "roll" motion prior to hitting the "CENTER" key. But with a little more experimenting, you can even introduce a little "roll" too, and this has it's advantages with some cockpits, as it will give you a slightly different angle of view over/out the front window.
The "CENTER" function key is a really great tool for adjusting your "default" view in any cockpit.
