Optitrack Hands?

It looks as though from reading the forum you will be busy updating the software once released. I see future support for facial mocap. Would I be able to capture full body AND hands at the same time? Or can I capture them later as an individual capture? If not, will it be supported later?

Hello:

Thanks for your interest in ARENA. Yes, we will be updating the software frequently after release. We do plan to add support for hands at some point, but we haven't set a date.

What we have been leaning towards is supporting 2 or 3 fingers per hand and that lets the software interpolate the other fingers. I believe this is a good technique as I have seen it work well, so it is probably the way we will go.

ARENA will be a growing system for sure, and our users will guide that development, just like with your suggestions.

To clarify, facial capture will most likely be stand alone, and not done with body at the same time, as that is what has mostly been requested. Hand will be at the same time.
