TrackIR - Program crashes

Hi,
Before I ramble on I must tell you I'm a bit IT deficient, so please don't throw me an IT wobbler...I just like flying PC aeroplanes and mostly GA.

I recently purchased and installed Track IR4 and also bought Track Clip Pro. The TrackClip works to a certain degree, in both FSX and FS9 but is very erratic and the program will eventually crash with either TrackClip or TrackClip Pro.
When using TrackClip Pro I pan to right, TCPro tracks left! So I pan to the left and TCPro shoots up to the ceiling. The heads are erratically rolling all around the screen, and although F12 centres the heads it is only a few moments before they again become unstable.

I have read some of the problems on the forums and have uninstalled (x3) and downloaded the update of TIR4, but to no avail. When it crashes I get an error message telling me the program is about to close, and refers to a file, quote: mod name: cameradll.dll It doesn't seem to matter what settings I choose...it just crashes. I appear to be doing something wrong, but for the life of me, I cannot work it out.
Any ideas?

Well, in regards to the erratic movement - When switching between the TrackClip and TrackClip Pro, are you also selecting vector or TrackClip Pro in the profiles? (default, flight, racing, etc.)

Have you tried the device on another system?

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
