SmartNAV and GroupWise conflict

Hello,
I have come across a problem when using SmartNAV to access a Novell GroupWise email account - the SmartNAV software tends to shut itself down when GroupWise is running.
Do you have any ideas about what might be causing this conflict?
Many Thanks,
Vicky

How are you connecting to the email server?
Are you using any other USB devices?

Hello,
There is a LAN connection to the router, and the server is web based.
There was a printer connected via USB, but the problem is persisting now that has been removed.
Many Thanks,
Vicky

So, are you connecting to it via Internet Explorer, or a client software on your system?

The problem occurs when you connect via the client software, and so far seems to operate OK when using the basic interface of the webmail version.
Many Thanks,

- Does the SmartNAV software close quietly or does it prompt during shutdown? Or does it crash?
- Does the SmartNAV software shut down as soon as the other software is started, or does it run for a while and then close? If it runs for a while, how long, and is there any particular type of action that causes it to close?
