Vince.This is Ron again from post below about cutting out.I switched USB ports and now it says no device detected.I reinstalled driver from my Natural Point>track ir>driver and it says I have latest.Checked for updates and it says I have latest driver installed?Do I have to reinstall from CD and then update?Thanks,Ron

Are you plugging directly into the system, or using a hub?

What version of windows are you runnng?

Plugging directly into front of unit.It was originally plugged in there but I moved it to one in the back so I could use the front one for something else.Since I was having the cutting in and out problem tonight I plugged it back into the front figuring I would try that.It said new device was detected then asked for drivers.I went to your update and it said drivers were current.But it says no device detected.I tried installing driver from Program files> Naturalpoint>trackir>driver and it seemed to insatll but still nothing.I am not using a hub for TrackIR but I am for my pedals and yoke with no problems.Should I reinstall driver from original CD then update?Thanks,Ron

So if you go into the device manager, is the TrackIR listed there?

Do you have another deviced plugged into the front?

It is listed with a yellow (!) and when I go to properties it says to reinstall the drivers.Which I clicked on but did not install from CD.It beeps when I unplu and replug into unit and says new hardware has been found.

And when you pont the install to c:\program files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR\drivers, it doesn't find the drivers?

Other devices on the front of the system?

Try plugging into powered USB hub?

Just plugged it back into the one in back that it was in and now it is registering.It originally worked in the front one.Am going to go to FS and make sure it is working.Does not solve the cutting in and out though.Would that be because I have older unit?Running 2.4G,256 video,1.5 gb ram .What happens is it is working fine then the green light goes out and view goes to straight ahead.then after a pause the green light comes on and everything is fine.Does not matter if I move my head fast or slow and does not happen all the time.No pattern.Ron

OK,everything is back to where I was before I switched ports.It seems to be smoother now.Could that be because I just updated to 4.1.30?Haven't actually had time for a real flight yet.Ron

I have this problem too. No matter where I plug it in. I have tried to point it to the .inf file and it still doesn't recognize it. Seems like it installs, I can even get the light to flash, but the TrackIR sw doesn't register it.

Ok, After all the messing around had time for a quick 45 min flight and all worked well.No cutting out.Hope the problem is solved by installing update.Ron
