I have a smartnav 2004 model and I just bought another one from Kinesis, which turned out to be a 2002 model. It seems that the 2002 model performs worse than the new model and the movement of the mouse cursor is noticably coarser. Is there any way to fix this, perhaps through a firmware upgrade?
