Hello, i read all these forum to find a solution to my problem but nothing
i HAd try all info that find here, but trackir 4 version 4.1 built 30 not work in these game (it not load) current game none
current profile default profile.
Another problem i see is if i close trackir programm it go in crash and i must close in task manager.

Many new Flight Simulator add-on products connect to Flight Simulator X (FSX) via the new SimConnect Application Programming Interface (API). When you run FSX with an add-on installed, some non-Microsoft firewall and antivirus applications (such as ZoneAlarm) may detect that FSX is attempting to make a network connection and display a dialog asking you to allow or block this connection.

This �network connection� is necessary for the add-on to connect with FSX. It�s a local connection between the add-on and FSX (via a network localhost/127.0.0.1 connection), and does not involve a connection to the Internet. Be assured: FSX is not trying to send personal data about you through the Internet.

Note that Microsoft Windows Firewall will not exhibit this behavior. It will, however, alert you if an add-on is actually trying to access the Internet.

In order for your FSX add-on to work properly with FSX you MUST allow this connection to be made. If you do not allow the connection to be made, the add-on you are trying to run (and all subsequent add-ons that connect to FSX through the SimConnect API) will not work properly.

Some non-Microsoft firewall and antivirus applications will block this "localhost" connection between an add-on and FSX automatically, without any notification. In this case, you must configure the firewall or antivirus application to include both FSX and the add-on (specifically, the fsx.exe file and the add-on's .exe file, if it has one) in the list of �trusted exceptions.� If this is not done, the add-on will not work properly with FSX. Please refer to the documentation for your specific firewall or antivirus application for details on how to add programs to the list of trusted exceptions.

OK, one step to try�.

1 - Delete the following file folder

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9

2 - Insert the FSX CD, and run the repair utility. Basically we are looking to reinstall the folder.

3 - Hopefully this should remedy the issue.

I do all it but not work. i also disable firewall of windows.And another thing. every time i need to close trackir program it is block and need to close from task manager.(isnt normal)

What other application do you have running in the background?

Are you connected direct to the computer, or are you using a USb hub?

Have you tried a clean install of the TrackIR software?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

In Vista, closing TrackIr by click on the close button top right or the TrackIR Icon top left of window only close the window, TrackIR still runs and its Icon remains in the Tray. With XP this does not happen. When I first ran TrackIR a String opened by the Icon reminding you of this, but for some reason this no longer occurs.
To close TrackIR completely you need to select the FILE menu item and select 'Exit'.
If the Tracking, Guages or Heads windows are open,( or if you are in Edit Profile)the main TrackIR window is inactive and clicking on it does nothing, giving the impression it has crashed and cannot be closed. Just close those windows first and the TrackIR window becomes active.
Perhaps this is what you have encountered. I have only had TrackIR crash once; that was after exiting Battle of Britain by pressing the Microsoft flag key to access the Desktop, which BoBII did not like; TrackIR was dead and like you I had to close it from Task Manager and reboot to get it back.

The 'issue' of it still running on the task bar, after closing, is due to the option "Close to Tray" selected within the TrackIR software, TrackIR -> Options -> Close to Tray.
