How hot should Trackir get?

Hi all

I purchased my Trackir from edimensional in February this year and i am using it for Condor Soaring Simulator.
These things are absolutely great but i have a little question to ask. How hot should these devices get?
When i came to remove it the other day, straight after gameplay, it seemed quite hot to the touch (i would estimate probably around 40-50oC) and just wondered if this temperature was normal. As its the first time i've removed it straight after game play, i'm not sure how warm they should get, and wether i should be worried about it overheating?

It is ok if the product is warm, that will be within the tolerance it is designed to run with.
