What is the Wratten number of the 800nm filter installed in the v100 camera? I intend to play around with some filters but obviously it would not make sense to put a second filter of the same type in front of the lens as is already on the back of it :)

Brad:

The filter on the V100 is not a Wratten filter, it is a custom glass element that is installed on the back of the M12 lens holder. So, it is separate from the lens and the lens holder, you could remove it if you took everything apart. It is a high pass filter at 800nm sharp. Total transmittance above 800nm is about 93%. Overall, it is a very nice filter, better than Wrattens, which I also have here for playing around. For Wratten, like #87 I think, but it is not nearly as nice as glass.
