Does your head position matter when starting the TrackIR software and the simulator? The gunsite never matches the bullets when firing so I have to move around to figure out what position gets the guns calibrated to the gunsite.

No, there is no defined position set by the software. You can also recenter using the hotkeys, by default the re-center key is F12.

Just like real life in OFF we added gunsight pipper so you have to align with your eye whilst flying just as you would - we also aded F6 fixed aim view just in case you don't like realism.
