TrackIR4 and FSX Acceleration

I know there's a few threads out there about this already. But none have solved my issue.

Basically, TrackIR4 was working just great with FSX Acceleration. I updated my Nvidia graphic drivers to the latest version, Forceware 169.21. After that, TrackIR does not detect FSX when launched. It works just fine in all of my other TrackIR enabled games. I have the blue light, I have the green "tracking" light. But the TrackIR software says "Current Game: None" on the main tab.

Ive already done tried removing the line below and running repair. No change.

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905..........

Ive un-installed the TrackIR software, deleted the Program Files folder, rebooted and reinstalled it fresh. No change.

Im hoping someone here can provide another thing to try. FSX just is no longer fun without TrackIR.

UPDATE:
I was able to resolve this issue on my own. It took the following steps to get my TrackIR4 to work again.

1. Uninstall FSX + Acceleration completely.
2. Delete the Microsoft Games folder from Program Files.
3. Ran CCleaner to clean the registry of any FSX references.
4. Rebooted, ran CCleaners reg cleaner again to clean remaining entries.
5. Uninstalled TrackIR completely.
6. Deleted the NatualPoint folder from Program Files.
7. Ran CCleaner reg cleaner.
8. Rebooted, ran reg cleaner one more time (found 2 trackir entries).
9. Reinstalled TrackIR, plugged in the USB, got it working and tracking my head again.
10. Installed FSX (NO SP1 or Acceration) Started it up, tested.. tracking.
11. Installed SP1. Started it up, tested... tracking.
12. Installed Acceleration. Started game up, tested... tracking!

Im flying again! I hope this process helps those who have had no luck with other suggestions.
