You must promise NOT to laugh!
However, here is a video of my calibration technique.
With the results at the end!
Mighty nice!

Seriously, if you have any questions about techniques or how to better use the software - or want to see videos of anything in particular.

You can also mount the marker at the end of a longer stick (i.e. broomstick.) That way, your body is far enough away that its much less likely to occlude.

Sean, you are one wild and crazy guy! Reminds me of I/ITSEC!

One of these days you are going to be a hit sensation on Youtube. We could have our own American Idol camera calibration technique competition, I would vote for you!

We have found that making sure you get marker samples from all over your calibration area is a good idea, so it optimizes the entire volume, not just one small space. You still get great values even with optimizing over a larger space.

Brad: Where is your video? :) I am very curious to see what your music selection will be.

There are quite a lot of people out there with Arena systems now, so these types of posts are a great resource for us and them. We need to promote the forums a bit more as we want it to be THE place to go for how-to info. Hopefully they will also inspire other Arena users to post too.

Hmmm - American Mocap - nice!

It was fun to do - and I think that initial new users could use the visual for their first calibration.
Hope it helps someone!
