Numerous compatibility issues (FSX-FS2004-TrackClip)

I have had numerous problems with installing. Some of these I've managed to fix by the readmes, and others I've not. The erratic head movement has been mostly fixed (still does it on the default profile, but flight profile is smooth), the program has been switched to recognize the TrackClip off the Vector option.
With regards to FS2004, it is not recognizing the sim at any rate. I have seen others that had the problem with ARMA, and have tried the clean reinstall without having an effect, and have tried switching to "Flight only" as a load profile. I do not know if loading in the "2d panel view" is a problem, but I cannot find out how to get it to load in the virtual cockpit view.
With regards to FSX, it initially ran and every time the sim had to perform any sort of work (changing aircraft, crashing, changing time of day, changing anything) it would crash to desktop. I did the clean reinstall, and now it will let me crash and reload aircraft, but whenever I do anything via the in-game menu it will crash to desktop.
I have not tried any of the other games yet to see if they experience similar problems. I do not know what could be the cause of this though, and hopefully anyone has some ideas.

When you selected TrackClip pro, instead of vector, did you do it for each profile?
Whenever you Start a flight, you must right click on the view and select "virtual cockpit."
Make sure you have the standard language.dll installed with FS2004. Some custom versions of the DLL remove strings required by TrackIR.
Ensure that the notification messages in FS2004 are turned on. The notifications appear in the upper right corner in red when switching to the virtual cockpit. The setting is found in your fs9.cfg file located by default in:
c:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9
[Main]
HideInfoText=0
Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?
Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
What other types of apps, do you have running in the background.

Ok, the problem with FS9 was the language DLL file. I had a program called "MSGKill" that would eliminate the tiresome "Parking Brake/Paused" on the program. That was the problem there.
As for the connectivity, I do not see a power management tab at the selected area, and it seems to connect fine, but just crashes FSX. I do not know if this is the demand on the system, but it is a fairly new system with a fantastic processor, so I can't imagine that would be the issue. As of yet, FS9 has not had the same crashing problem. It'll work fine as long as its on that "preliminary load". If you try to change aircraft, date/time, scenery, instant replay, or anything that "distracts" the sim, that is when it either crashes to desktop or fatally locks up.

I tried that prior to posting, and the CD came with the current variant. I did actually discover that the problem belonged to an aircraft pack that I installed. I installed the TrackIR and this one on the same day, but did not experience problems right away. I spoke with another TrackIR user and he says that he's NEVER had things crash his system.
I uninstalled the other program on the off chance, and it is 100% better thus far. I'm hoping that it remains that way, but only time will tell for this.
Many thanks for your help, and I'll be back if the problem initiates again.
