Help needed: TrackIR4Pro and FSX
Posted: Mon Jan 07, 2008 11:33 am
Hello,
I need help to solve problem with TrackIR4Pro and FSX
Problem:
In FSX, the virtual cockpit does NOT track my head movement.
Additional info:
- TrackIR4Pro works fine with my FS2004.
- I have FSX deluxe version + Service Pack 1 installed.
- FSX with virtual cockpit available:
1) I see the Green light and 4 red dots on the tracker.
2) No blue light flashing
- I tried F12, F9 nothing happens.
- In TrackIR application, I have the profile "flight"as exclusive load.
- Before starting FSX, I start this application.
- System info: Windows XP, DX9c. Norton 2008 antivirus and internet security.
- Flightsim addons: PMDG 747, Flight1 ATR, scenery EBBR, Venice.
- I disabled the Norton Firewall, before starting the TrackIR software and then FSX: did not solve the problem.
- I removed the C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9
Inserted the FSX CD, and run the repair utility.
Result: still no tracking.
Thanks in advance for advice to solve the problem,
Frank
