Hi --
I just ordered the smartNAV to use at work... and maybe at home, too. I'm also going to start using Dragon VR software, and am looking forward to operating my computer without using my hands and arms.
I have a lot of pain from "thoracic outlet syndrome" and carpel tunnel, and I really want to be able to continue working. I'm a secretary, and use the computer all day -- MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
I'm interested in corresponding with others who use these programs with the smartNAV. And I have plenty of questions, already.
For instance, does anyone use the "dots" on a headset microphone? and how do I install the camera on a skinny flat panel display, or on my laptop at home?
I have found that people at work think I'm nuts, trying all this high-tech stuff, but I truly cannot continue to work on the computer unless I stop using my arms.
I look forward to hearing from others about your experiences with hands-free computer use.
thanks,
juju
