Gentlemen,
Please i need your help. I use Il-2 Forgotten Battles 1946 (the lastest one for at least 8 months with Track IR 4 Pro - device info xxxxx-. Well until Oleg releases the BOB....) and the track ir works fine. But sometimes , during the flight, the leds (green, blue and reds) simply disapear. Even during the game is runing I disconnect the USB and conenct again. Around 50% of tentatives, the track ir "returns to life". Other events I have to quit the same, re-run the track IR sw again. You imagine for each 10 min its happens. It s a really pain in the neck. Other events, only the red leds are on and "no data" in status. Even with the vector in my hat. Anyway, it occuring several TrackIR "in flight shut downs". I have already checked viruses, resinstalled the sw, and etc , but it still failing. I have not found in the FAQ my case.
Please let me know your experiences in how to resolve this issue.
Rgds,
Fernando

Have you tried the device on another system?

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
