TrackIR and stereo vision

I've seen that someone has already posted this:

However, my question is more specific - would it be possible to integrate TrackIR with NVidia 3d stereo software? Instead of using the 3d glasses, the viewpoint would be view-dependent. I.e. the more you move to the right side, the more the view changes to the "right eye" view, and vice versa. Naturally, this would not have any impact on the gameplay, it would be only eye candy...

I suppose this would only work with 3d generated in real time, the 3d photographs have only two states and there is no way to determine intermediate positions (unless you use morphing, but that would be difficult in real time).

Not sure what you are getting at here. Are you saying as a way to use TIR in games that don't support it? It would only be marginal use in that case as all you could do would be lean left and right, and even then I don't think it would be possible.

However, I would imagine TIR would work just fine in *conjuction* with 3D stereo glasses - you would get a view of where you were looking *and* it would in stereo.

So therefore using 3D glasses and TIR you would be able to get this effect and it wouldn't just be an optical illusion of the targets appearing to pop out of the screen, they really would as the left eye and right eye would be getting different images as you leaned around. Plus as it is TIR, you would be able to turn your head and see the back of the targets...
