hi I am interested in the SmartNAV4.

I am wondering is a SmartNAV 4 any good with light filtering [outside light] [house window at back of me. ]

The new SmartNav 4 has vastly improved light filtering from pervious versions. It will work in most lighting conditions, including sunlight, but if the light is very bright on the unit, it can have tracking problems. Basically, it should work, but we want to be reasonable about sunlight.
