Hi,

I found about 24 cameras system today. When did you start supporting more than 12 cameras? (Around the recent toolkit update?) I have been using 12 cameras for 2~3 months, and I was surprised today.

And if I want to add cameras, just buying more cameras would be enough? Or do I need to get others like another toolkit? (Currently I'm using 1.1.034.)

Yes, with the latest release of our OptiTrack tools, we started supporting 24 cameras for Arena. For Rigid Body, we currently suggest 12 cameras. You shouldn't need anything except the cameras and any USB hubs or extensions. Drop us an email and let us know what you want to do so we can offer specific setup advice. 24 cameras is a lot to setup!

Was the 24-cameras support only for ARENA? Unfortunately I'm using the Rigidbody Toolkit. When do you expect supports for the Rigidbody Toolkit would start?
And do you have any plans to support Linux? I read the FAQ about that before, but if it happens, it would be really nice.

We are testing the RigidBody Toolkit with 24 cameras now. We expect that support might be ready in 2 months time, but we don't have a definite release schedule for it.

I don't think we will have Linux support any time soon, but you can always just stream data from a Windows machine to a Linux machine. Just an idea.
