Capture space?

I have an okay space for a capture volume at home, but I was just curious where other people have found space to set up in. 20'x20'x8' is a pretty big area to find--I wasn't able to find anything like it in my area for love or (affordable) money, but I'm wondering if I've overlooked any possibilities. Any advice on the kind of facilities I might look for?

Thanks--Tim

Warehouses can be inexpensive, or you standard 2 car garage, even your living room, if your significant other will let you!

If you use the AutoPoles, you can fit cameras into a small space.

20x20 is pretty big, our capture area at the office is 23' square by 10' tall. I think 15' is more than reasonable, especially if you have 12 cameras.

Hi Tim:

We rent gymnasiums. The one I just used went for $55/hr. We found one out in the country for $12/hr. Warehouses don't always have power where you need it, and dust is bad for computers. However, we have to shoot at night due to windows in the gyms.

Just curious, how many cameras are you using in your rig?

G'luck,

Michael

I think height is really the big deal - 10' is great, but the v100's really like to be up there.

Right now I am in a 2 car garage, however its 12' tall (lucked out).
