Can we sell TrackIR here? + Warranty

Hey guys, I play sims almost every day and I've been thinking of getting TrackIR for quite a while now, and recently just purchased TrackIR from my local computer store, And I'm VERY disappointed with it, I've only used it for 2 days, and just find it one of the most annoying thing's I've ever used, Thing is, it's something you need to try before you buy and that's bloody hard sometimes.

Is there a "30 day return policy" or something on these?

I payed $300 for the Ultra Pack "Australia" and am now looking to sell it for $250.

My rooms dark, it detects fine, theres NO OTHER light interfering, But it's like it takes half a second to register you've moved your head which is so bloody annoying, and i don't know i just hate the damn thing.

So any advice to others who is in my boat: Try before you buy guys, It's not going to be exactly what it looks like.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just a little upset at how everybody said it was the best thing in the world, yet I'm the only person that finds it rubbish. And i was wondering what the Warranty on it is like.?

The view control should be incredibly responsive, if you are experiencing a half second delay there may be a setup or tuning issue. I'd like to encourage you to email our support staff (support@naturalpoint.com) to see if they can help you get up and going better.

When bought directly from NaturalPoint, we offer a 30 day return policy. If you purchased from other sources then you will need to consult with them to see what their return policy is.

1 - What version of the TrackIR software are you running?

2 - What version of Windows?

3 - Are you running any Anti-virus/Firewall software?

4 - In the following folder location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, what is the file size for each profile?

5 - What gaming applications are you using it in?

Thanks Birch, Nah i brought it from my mates computer store and he got it through one of his suppliers, And he won't accept it back.

1 - I'm pretty sure i am using the one that came with my ultra pack that i brought

2. I'm running SP2 Windows XP

3. Nah mate, no anti virus at the moment

4. I was running Test drive unlimited, and Live for speed mate.


Note: I think my major problem is I'm too close to my monitor, so even when i look slightly to the right or left, i have to use the corner of my eye to see the other side of the screen, most vid's I've seen of it the monitor is quite a far way back.

Also seen a youtube vid of some guy zooming right in on flight simulator to the buttons, but when i try it the TrackIR stops detecting it when i move my head too close to the screen so i can't do that either, I'm pretty sure it's because of how close i am to the screen - 1 or 2 arm lengths.

I've given it another go, but i don't think i have what it takes to get used too, it's a great application, and since you guys offer a 30 day return policy, i suggest anybody looking at getting it does buy it through these guys.
