minimum processor for Optitrack

Hello all,

I just got my Optitrack via USPS! Now it's time to upgrade the laptop!

Can anyone shed some light on requirements for the 8-camera system?

I know it is best to use a computer with a dual core processor -- would a Intel pentium 4 CPU at 3.06 ghz do the trick? Or perhaps that is a bit too slow...

Can anyone give me the ideal set of specs?

Thanks for the advice!

Laptop!

2 GB ram!

ATI Radeon Xpress 200M video card!

:)

Right now I have am looking at a AMD Turion 64 MT-28 (1.6 GHz/512 KB L2 cache)...but I'm afraid this is going to be too sloooow...

(again, thanks for your advice!)

Pentium 4 CPU at 3.06 - might just work, I wouldn't try running anything else at the same time.

The 1.6GHz system just couldn't keep up.
