We have three Flex V100's that are working well with our first PC, including the Rigid Body and Point Cloud tools and all licensing. I am receiving errors while trying to install the cameras on a second PC (using just the SDK for grayscale capture). The SDK install goes smoothly. After connecting the camera, Windows correctly detects the camera and finds the driver. It completes the system restore point and appears to complete the driver copy, but then it errors out with one of two messages. The first time it gave me "Access Denied". Every subsequent attempt gives me "Invalid data".

I have uninstalled the SDK, rebooted, and reinstalled twice. I have Administrator rights. Both machines are WinXP SP2.

Logged on as an admin?

Both machines are Windows XP SP2. I am logged in with administrator privileges.

To clarify, the access denied message is not a popup, but is the final message from the install wizard.

Sorry for the ridiculously long post. I raised the log level to see the setup output. I've also checked all the registry permissions that came to my mind. I'm going to watch the install with regmon next.

Any ideas?

Directly into the PC, or using a hub?

Nothing notable is running. I did try with my antivirus disabled.

I have tested it directly in all available local USB ports as well as through a USB hub for the heck of it.

If you can send us a screenshot of the error message that pops up to support @ naturalpoint.com, that would be helpful. Along with the installlog.txt file that should be found under the prorgam files/naturalpoint/
(if you dont see it immediately, try searching in under subfolders).
