I have Vista and Track IR 3 pro. Am I hosed?

MS combat flight simulator does not work and my VR920 goggles will arrive in a couple days. I've been told by natural point tech support that right now there is not a fix for Track ir 3 in vista.
Can natural point or anybody verify that Trackir 4 pro doesn't have any problems? I would wait but I want to play now and I'll bite the bullet and buy a track IR 4 if it is compatible with vista and flight combat simulator 3.
terrible thing is that it works for all the other games but not my favorite.
I'd also like to add that I have the vector expansion as well.
