iRacing centring delay

Post by wonder_warthog »

Hi,

I've got my TrackIR4 set up OK with iRacing now except that when I go to centre the trackir via my wheel (which I have assigned in the trackIR software) there is often a delay in anything happening.. of at least a second. Sometimes it works instantly, but usually not. I have put trackir as a high priority process but that doesn't seem to have helped. Any idea what the problem could be please?

Thanks in advance

Do you have anything else assigned to that button, within the gaming application itself?

Any other software running in the background, such as firewall/antivirus software?

No, I've turned those off, and have tried running trackir high priority...

Version of Windows?

Can you try on of the demo applications, and see if you have the same issue?

Sorry for delay in responding. It's Vista 32 Premium and it works fine on GTR2. The actual head movement in iracing is fine, it's just the centring that is delayed. Strangely not initially but as soon as you're up and racing the centring is delayed by about a second or so

Does it also occur if you change the centering option back to the default keys?
