3d positioning magic stick

Hi,
For 3D animators it would be very useful to have some sort of 3D position magic stick that acts as a mouse input to position Inverse Kinematics target (heels, foots toes, pelvis, hand, etc...) of your character. Looking at the products Naturalpoint has already created this shouldn't be to hard, but for animators it would be a really good help. It could speed up the animation proces significantly. Most 3D software already allows motion tracking of joystick input etc... If you could make it compatible with Blender, 3DS Max, Lightwave, Maya and Softimage it would be great. (You just need to make sure you add a depth axis to the mouse input driver. ) Keep up the good work.
