Advice on capture Hands

Hi everibody, we just bought the fundation package pro, we hope arrive soon, what i want is to capture the body and hands at the same time, i need advice on which device i could use, i saw The shapehand from measurand and it was great but really expensive, any solutions for hand capture?

Good question, we are searching for such a device, too. Any suggestions or experiences? Are there any plans to include hand capture in Arena?

It is something that we are looking into, but it currently is not on the development features schedule.

(They use magnetic tracking, not optical tracking by the way. I guess there might be some trouble with the loss of markers when the fingers bend to much. If you got your hand in a fist. There aren't many markers that can be seen. You'll have to program clever software that senses or knows this.

Hey guys,

PhaseSpace has a hand capture system with their setup. (active optical)

Shapehands are the ones I sell the most of. Very good accuracy, pretty much indestructible. These are optical fibers coiled on metal tapes.

5DT are the workhorses at about 600 GBP
