Cannot minimize to tray!

Post by czuk »

Hi all,

i am using trackir4+trackclip pro.

since I reinstalled my operating system I am facing a little nasty problem;
the trackir software will not minimize to tray. better said, it will minimize to tray however it will also stay in the taskbar of winxp.
that wasn't so on my old installation. in the past it would always minimize to tray without staying in the taskbar.

i am using the current version 4.1.35.

any ideas?

Have you tried changing the following option?

menu -> options -> close to tray

Problem solved & bugfix advise for NaturalPoint

Oh dear.

I used the german language option.
The german translation of "close to tray" is completely wrong.

I found this issue, as I now switched to english language und was suprised to find a "close to tray" option in the menu I've already gone through a hundred times....

Problem solved.

I'd advise to correct the translation in one of the next program updates...

Instead of saying "Schlieen und Zwischenablage leeren" (that translates to "close and clear clipboard") you should say "Bei Schlieen in Systray minimieren".

Have you tried the new 4.1.036 beta build? We just posted it, and it includes some German language corrections. If you have any other proposed corrections we'd be happy to hear them as well.

Thanks for the link. Haven't seen it before, as it came after my initial post, so I hadn't any chance finding it.

I am glad to see, that the mentioned mispelling seems to be corrected now.
