Reversed movement when looking behind

I recently did a full reinstall of my system, XP SP3 etc.etc.

While I was at it I installed the latest TIR drivers 4.1.035, I was using 4.1.029 before with no problems but thought I might as well use the latest as everything else was fresh and up to date.

The problem I have is that with these drivers in FSX if I look behind me and try moving left or right the movement is reversed, it works just fine if I'm looking forward though.

I remember that this was a problem some time ago with older drivers, I had it before in FS9, but it got fixed with a driver update.

Well for me at least its back, any ideas, is it a known issue with these drivers that I'll have to wait for an update to fix or is there anything I can do my end to fix it ?

Do you have the TrueView optio selected in the driver profiles?

What gaming application are you using?

Thanks Vincent, that was it I had trueview unticked.
I thought I had it unticked before but cant be certain as I forgot to backup my profiles before the rebuild (DOH).

I've never been sure what TrueView was as I couldn't find anything about it in the help file but assumed it was a sort of dynamic head movement and FSX already has that built in.

Picture it this way. I'll use a flight simulator as an example, because that's what I use, and it makes it easier to assign an arbitrary forwards and backwards direction for the explanation. In normal, non true view mode if you turn your head the translation axis doesn't rotate with it.. meaning if you look 90 degrees to the right (that is so in game your view rotates 90 degrees), then in game it would make sense that sliding your head to the left (relative to your sitting position) would move it towards the front of the cockpit, in game. Instead it moves you to the left side of the plane. The translation axis hasn't rotated to follow the orientation of your head.

Whereas in trueview; I can look almost behind me, out a side window, and then if I move my head to the side (proper in game direction) I peek out over the edge of the window.
