not smooth, and calibration issues

I tried this with the vector cap version and it was a lot smoother than the pro clip.
When using the head tester and gauges and turning my head to the right yaw at half the distance I should be able to turn the device is clipping and making the head movement erratic. Compared to the left yaw movement which is full range.
And given there is no "calibrate range" in the editor I don't see a way to fix this.
I have also noticed in games with the proclip vs the vector jumping and far less fluid / smooth movement even with settings adjusted to smooth things out.
I have a large window behind me I used the light filter to remove from the sensors vision. I have also tried to adjust the dot size to get this work better in the same window (tracking).
It seems with the pro clip the fps for the sample rate of the tracker decreases or some times takes up to 3 seconds to report a new position.
I am running a x64 xp machine with 8 cores, 8800 gtx oc 768, 4gb ram, fatal1ty pro gamer. The device is plugged into a port on the front of my computer which is usb 2.0 compatible. I have not tried to hook the device directly to a port in the rear which would be on the mobo its self. I dont see how that would change anything given the front ports are connected to the mobo. And I have not tried a external hub with its own power supply.
