Center Mouse function in-game

I use a TrackIR 3 Pro (Version 3.13 software) in mouse emulation mode to play FPS. The problem is that auto-panning tends to cause problems after awhile and I need to recenter the cursor. It won't work in-game for the Battlefield series, is there a way around it?

The default hot-key for recentering the view is F12, and should allow you to readjust the view point. As far as mouse-look in BF2, is there an option to enable it within the application

I can center the cursor ok out of the game, even at the options screen in the game, just not while playing. I don't use mouse-look, just mouse emulation mode.

Is it working in general, within the application?

Could the re-center button also be assigned to another function within the game itself?

Yes it's working great outside of the game. It just won't re-center while in the gameplay. I have to hit ESC and effectively "step out" of the game, re-center, and then hit ESC again to resume playing. I've tried setting re-center to mouse buttons & every other key on my keyboard, it still won't function in-game.

It could be the gaming application itself, which could be overriding the Direct input functions.

I think that mouse centering could be considered an "aimbot" of sorts, or at least might look like one to the game software. I just need it for the times when i've used auto-panning so much that the center of the mouse is way off.
