What is the amount of space recommended for capturing motion? I will use 8 camera's, but only record 1 person at a time.

The ideal capture space is 20x20ft, but you can capture in smaller spaces if needed. I capture in a space approximately 16x14 feet which gives me a capture volume of about 8x7 (which in my case, is barely enough, seeing that I'm 6'2".. grin, but I have to live with that) I would also setup the cameras as high as you can (no more than about 12ft though)
For 8 cameras, the recommended setup is 4 low (about chest height) with the other 4 as high as 12 feet... You will have to play around a bit to see what is your optimum setup for your space..
Hope this helps!
