TrackIR 4 + Proclip - Lagging

Going to post some problems and solutions I found in case anyone hit the same walls I did. I just got my Track IR today and so far this is what I have found.
Problem: While using the Proclip attachment, I was originally having some SEVERE issues with the little dummy head snapping around like someone was a little too zealous in trying to break my neck.
Solution: Make sure that under View > Tracking > Settings that the CAMERA LED's are OFF. With those, while using vector tracking, your headset attachment is useless. Make sure that proclip is selected in the profile you are using, you have set the lights to off, and adjusted the light filter. That helped solve all but 1 problem (see below).
Current Problem: Proclip Lag. This mode lags.. BIG TIME. I set my smoothing down to about 30 as suggested by a forum support mod, but to no avail. I then tried it in 5 unit increments from 0 to 100 with absolutely NO change in smoothing. I have 0 interference with the tracking, 3 green dots correct. However when I turn my head, if done slow, TrackIR will almost freeze, then catch up.. if done fast, it performs better, but it halts for 2 seconds then jerks around so much I'm staring at my rear end.
Solution: For the time being I have had to resort to Vector settings, Camera LED on, and oddly enough, it works with 0 lag and crystal clear recognition. ***EDIT: Forgot I am using a Hat clip as well.. though I would prefer to NOT have to wear at hat while playing games***
However as I paid for the proclip, I would love if a tech can respond and help me figure the adjustments needed to speed up the processing while using proclip.
Hardware:
AMD 9950 64bit Phenom
8 Gb DDR2 1066
2 Gb ATI HD 4870x2 DDR5
MA-GA790GP-DS4H (Gigabyte AM2+ Board)
USB 2.0
Software:
Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate (fresh install)
TrackIR 4(Version: 4.1 Build 36 / fresh install)
I almost have nothing that would even cause any conflicting issues, no light issues etc.
Any other information I shall "super-happy-troll" my post so I can try any suggested solutions asap.
