Hi,
Just got the SN3...love it! My RSI nightmare is over...however:
I was surprised to see that SN3 does not work in Americas Army, a 1st person shooter...
Is the only way using the TrakIR4 software in Mouse Emulation Mode? This mode does not seem to work very well...slow in response and not very accurate comapred to the excellent cursor control of SN3 in windows.
Please help! Eager to game again after years of nothing due to RSI.
Chris

SmartNAV V3.2 Build 28 (had to use regfix patch to get it to work)
TrackIR v 4.1.028

That is interesting, I will have to do some testing of it, in the next few days, as you are the first person to report this issue.

Thanks, Americas Army is a free download (800MB!) if you want to try it with that...
www.americasarmy.com
Appreciate you looking into it...haven't had time to try it with any other games yet....

Hmm, that is strange. so it's not isolated to one game....
Still trying to find the time to test.

unfortunately there is no built in support for the device in America's Army. You can only use it in a mouse emulation mode.

I am confused...why does the PC not see the SM3 as a mouse? Is there not away to tell the PC it is a mouse to avoid all of these problems?
I have a gyration cordless mouse, the recieving base station attaches to the PC, but operates completely like a mouse.
Thanks, Chris
