Hello, Vincent.
My TrackIR 4 Pro does not work.
I have established driver. Has connected TrackIr. The program informs: �No device detected�.
Windows does not see TrackIR. I have checked up a cable. The cable works.
I have disconnected in USB white and black wires. Windows defines TtackIr as unknown
the device. At connection of white or black wires. TrackIr does not work.
In what the reason?

Hello,
I have the exacly same problem.Except my blue led on device is flashing
But it seems to me that problem started after vista sp1 and xp sp3.
Do anybody have vista or xp updated with latest driver and service packs and TrackIr 4 pro working.

Earlier my TrackIr worked with Windows XP SP3. Probably problem in USB controller TrackIr.

What is the Serial # of the device?
It should be located on the end of the cable, near the USB plug, or on the underside of the device.
Have you tried the device on another system?
Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?
Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
Could you attach a screen shot of your Device Manager (showing USB), and tracking screen (TrackIR software -> View -> Tracking)?

I have tried everything on several PC-s but all of them have SP packs installed.I haven�t use TrackIr for some time and when I tried to start it TrackIr software said that there is no device.TrackIr led (blue) flashed all the time so I didn�t think that is something going wrong

I am having the same problems as above posts " Device Not Detected", have tried a reinstall but still the same on my "Vista" machine. Tried the install on another machine "XP" and same result.
My serial number is xxxxx. Tried the Reg repair prog but it reports no device found needing repair. This item is brand new and out of the box. Please advise. Rgds Trev.

Hi Vincent, I have just returned from a 3 month overseas trip & I too are having the exact problem as Vikin & Trev, Device not detected & blue flashing LED. I purchased Trackir pro back in June 08 & it worked fine for 3 months without any problems on my current Vista32 hardware. Now returning I can get it to work on the same hardware set up. I have tried all the suggested solutions on the web & instruction manual but nothing works. Pls can you advise what the problem is & solution?
